On August 18 the open air exhibition Rites of Life opens on Nytorv Square in the center of Copenhagen, Denmark. Nytorv faces the famous and very popular Strøget, the longest pedestrian shopping area in Europe. At the height of the tourist season Strøget is visited by some 250,000 people every day.

Besides 66 photos in large format, shown on illuminated display stands at Nytorv Square, there is also an information center in which a behind-the-scenes video is shown and where the book and exhibition catalogue can be bought.

The exhibition is free and open to the public 24 hours a day.
